All products can be Tagged to tell Transactor to implement special handling or extra business rules. This could affect calculations, form display or something else like printing behavior.
Some product Tags are available in the default system, but you can 'invent' your own in the Control Centre > Advanced > Tags.
To assign a product Tag
In the Edit Product window, select the green plus symbol on the right, beside the Tags box.
Highlight the Tag you want to assign, and choose Select.
The pre-defined tags that are "built-in" to Transactor can be used to affect how a product will appear on reports. You can create your own Product tags for marking products as being part of a particular product group but you cannot create new tags that have 'effects' like the built-in tags do.
